Title: Estimator
Location: Boston, MA or Ashland, MA
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
Requirements: Commercial Construction / Budgeting / Estimating/ Masonry/ Restoration

Responsibilities:
1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
3. Conducting risk and opportunity assessments to support project decision-making.
4. Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to gather necessary information for estimates.
5. Reviewing and evaluating cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure that all factors have been considered and included in the estimate.
7. Managing the bid submission process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
8. Monitoring and tracking project costs to identify areas for improvement and potential cost savings.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in masonry construction and commercial restoration.
2. Proficient in estimating, project bidding, budgeting, calculating square footage, project estimation, blueprint reading, and cost analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in using estimating software and other related computer applications.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
