We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Permanent Director of Supply Planning and Procurement for Supplements. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply planning and procurement, ensuring that our company maintains a steady supply of the supplements needed to meet our business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who can effectively manage and optimize our supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for procurement and supply chain management, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of supplements.
• Utilize NetSuite to manage and monitor supply chain activities, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand demand planning needs and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of supplements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in supply chain management, implementing best practices to optimize efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, procurement analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience using NetSuite for supply chain management.
• Demonstrated understanding of purchase order flow and inventory management.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Experience in the supplements industry is a plus.
