Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Overseeing the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely.
- Implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, including lean manufacturing principles.
- leading and managing a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
- Setting and achieving production goals in line with company objectives.
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with production processes.
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programs.
- Identifying training needs and organizing training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Reporting on key production metrics to senior management, providing recommendations for improvements.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a production supervisory role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience in production management, lean manufacturing, process improvement, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and lean manufacturing methods.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production-related software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
