We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dentist to join our dynamic and reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, focusing on diagnosing, preventing, and treating issues related to oral health. This position requires a professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and is ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
2. Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.
3. Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans.
4. Prescribe medications as necessary.
5. Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations.
6. Supervise the work of professional, technical, and administrative staff.
7. Maintain patient dental records.
8. Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of staff.
9. Keep abreast of new developments in dentistry through structured continuing professional developments.
Qualifications:
1. Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine.
2. State license and malpractice insurance.
3. Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required.
4. Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
5. Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
8. Good management skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
9. Comfortable using all dental machinery and technology.
10. Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in dental surgery.
11. A patient and friendly personality, sensitive to the fears and anxiety of dental patients.
12. Ability to make patients feel comfortable and to build trust.
13. Excellent physical stamina and dexterity.
14. Commitment to ongoing education and upgrades in dental knowledge and skills.
15. High standards of professional ethics and patient care.
