Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated Credit Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a credit and collections process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding debts. This is a challenging and exciting position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
ResponsibilitiesThis role is both phone and email work - it's 60% email/40% phone work but you must be okay with picking up the phone.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts
- Work with internal departments to resolve customer disputes and issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit and collections transactions
- Communicate with customers via phone or email to resolve outstanding issues
- Provide regular reports to management on the status of outstanding debts and collections efforts
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collections processes and reduce delinquency rates
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
- 3-5 years of experience in credit and collections in a business to business environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with credit evaluation and risk assessment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
