Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control systems and software for machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and software as they arise.
• Maintain and improve existing control systems and interfaces.
• Develop and execute testing procedures for control systems and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, and design control systems.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on potential risks and issues.
• Document all product specifications and update existing documentation as necessary.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure coordination in the execution of project objectives.
• Commission, service, test and debug control systems as required.
• Provide remote technical support to clients and sales team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience with Allen Bradley PLC's.
• Proven experience in machine commissioning.
• Solid HMI experience, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
• Strong understanding of control systems and their applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
