Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute CAD production work in accordance with established specifications and within designated timeframes.
• Develop part designs based on written and verbal instructions from design engineers.
• Collaborate directly with design engineers to generate drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal accounting to ensure prompt procurement of materials essential for manufacturing.
• Generate precise technical drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes, encompassing cut sheets, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, foundation drawings, elevation drawings, and more.
• Provide exceptional customer service, leveraging technical expertise in manufacturing, installation, and equipment operation, to both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure that drawings effectively communicate accurate information and are free of errors by closely collaborating with all departments.
• Create comprehensive technical documents for manufacturing and installation, including bill of materials and installation steps.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate knowledge of sheet metal and structural metal.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.
• Apply and comprehend principles of mechanical engineering effectively.
• Proficiently utilize computer design software.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
