Job Details

This position reports to the BIM Manager and the Project Executives. In this role the BIM and Architectural Coordinator will support the BIM Manager on all aspects of BIM management on various projects as well as create and design minor Architectural efforts as necessary.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions : Include, but are not limited to :

• Supporting the BIM Manager on all assigned tasks
• Work closely with the BIM Manager, Project Executives, Project Managers, and Superintendents
• Create, manage and update BIM Models on multiple projects
• Create, update and organize each phase of the Building Information Model (BIM)
• Coordinate with trade partners and the design professionals involved in the BIM process
• Manage the interferences between BIM models of different disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.).
• Attend Project Meetings
• Work within Procore to distribute, the clash detection process, publish model versions for project team access, and to maintain project meeting updates
• Compile As-Built Manual
• Interacting with the Project Managers and Clients to implement their plans and goals into sketches and architectural drawings
• Communicate and coordinate with Boyle Team, Clients and Trade Contractors to ensure that all parties are on the same page throughout the project
• Developing design concepts and architectural solutions
• Creating computer models of designs through 3D modeling software
• Preparing and maintaining construction documents, specifications, and material selections

Qualifications and Other Skills and Abilities :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry is required
• Proficient in computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, BIM 360, Procore, and Navisworks
• Construction Management or Architecture Degree preferred
• Combination of both design and field experience is a plus
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs; knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling desirable
• Very strong English oral & written communication skills are a must, with special emphasis on writing professional email communications
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety laws
• Knowledge of permitting, review, and inspection process
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
