Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute audit plans for Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management in a clear and concise manner
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and mentor staff members to promote professional growth and development
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and trends to ensure audit quality and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CIA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing Employee Benefit Plans (EBP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, ERISA, and DOL regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software
