If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Permanent Audit Associate to join our team. This is a hybrid role, providing the flexibility to work both from home and on-site as needed. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse team of experienced finance professionals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Audit Associate, you will play a critical role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for
- Conducting detailed audits of financial records to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies in financial records and making recommendations for corrective action.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of audit procedures and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
- Collaborating with team members to facilitate the exchange of information and to ensure the successful completion of audit projects.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
- Keeping abreast of developments in the finance industry to ensure that our financial operations remain in line with industry standards and best practices.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in an audit role for a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively present complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all work activities.
