We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our high-performing legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of legal issues, contribute to our company's success, and grow your career in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of litigation, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal advice and client service.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:
1. Represent clients in court proceedings, providing legal counsel and advice as required.
2. Conduct legal research to support cases, draft legal documents, and prepare case strategies.
3. Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
4. Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex legal matters.
5. Maintain and build client relationships while serving as a trusted legal advisor.
6. Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients.
7. Ensure the ethical and professional representation of the company at all times.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a preference for candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience.
3. Proven experience in litigation.
4. Must be barred in MO or KS.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clients and legal team.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects.
8. High level of professional integrity, and a strong ethical stance.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. They will be committed to delivering high-quality work, and will thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
