Our company is seeking a Permanent Plant Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the plant, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and overseeing the month-end close process. This is a full-time position that requires 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience and a Bachelor's Degree. An MBA, CPA, CMA, or CGMA is preferred.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial operations of the plant, including general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing and consolidating financial statements.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Work closely with the plant manager and other department heads to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support the annual budget process.
• Provide support for external audits and other compliance requirements.
• Manage the plant's ERP system (E9) and other financial systems, including Cognos.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team and other staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or CGMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (E9) and financial reporting tools (Cognos).
• Experience with general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
