We are currently seeking a dynamic, diligent and dedicated Permanent Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our ever-growing team. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in the manufacturing industry, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be working alongside our experienced maintenance team, learning and improving your skills while contributing to the success of our company.
3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:00am
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Apprentice Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruptions.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring instruments to perform repairs and maintenance activities.
4. Assisting in the installation and set-up of new equipment, as well as upgrading existing systems as needed.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
7. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of industrial equipment.
3. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.
4. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. A commitment to safety, with a track record of adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical certificate or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
