Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 per year

- Reports to the President and has 5-8 direct reports (Accounting Associates and Bookkeepers)
- Meet & develop a relationship with clients to identify accounting services needs
- Coordinate accounting strategies with our Wealth & Tax teams to ensure a cohesive, full-service client experience
- Plan, assign, and review staff’s work, including financial statements
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
- Assist in the design and preparation of budgets
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
- Drive the department’s goal-setting process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) principles
- Collaborate with team to improve financial procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency
