Generative AI is enabling AIML and Embedded developers to build innovative products and applications that are revolutionizing the way we create and interact with products. This revolution is most pronounced with AIML/GenAI applications that are deployed at the edge.
At SiMa, we are building the AIML and Generative AI Silicon to Software tech stack to push the boundaries of model development at the edge for ANY framework, ANY network, ANY model, ANY sensor, and ANY modality. We do this via the SiMa Palette Software, Palette EdgeMatic(TM), MLSoC, and Model Zoo. We build products for AI development teams to scale their EdgeAI from single ML model applications to large multi-modal applications on one platform.
As part of the SiMa product management team, you will be responsible for the strategy, definition and delivery of next-generation software and hardware platform focused on AIML and GenAI multi-modal workloads at the edge. You will work closely with our customers to develop positive relationships, learn their software requirements and work with the architecture, engineering, and business development teams to build products and solutions that enable their success.
Director, Software Product Management- GenAI
Asa Director, Software Product Management - GenAI , your influence will be broad across our partners, customers, and industries that are pushing boundaries with AIML and GenAI multi-modal applications at the edge. The successful candidate will be self-driven and passionate about bringing innovative solutions to the market. The candidate will have strong experience with the AI software ecosystem and the capabilities required to maximize the value proposition of the SiMa silicon to software tech stack and partner ecosystem. This person has successfully developed customer-centric requirements with clear acceptance criteria and has led cross-functional teams to execute and deliver the roadmap to customers and partners. Your ability to work in a highly dynamic, ambiguous, and startup environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Transform AIML and GenAI multi-modal application requirements into production ready software features and applications including next gen models, APIs, and tools at high velocity.
• Communicate with team members across the full stack, from low-level modeling and serving engineering to high level UX and end-user application teams.
• Deliver detailed roadmaps, milestones, plans, and PRDs, leveraging an understanding for markets, competition, emerging trends, and user requirements for products and features in areas with many unsolved and open-ended questions.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, product design, operations, marketing, go-to-market, and finance
• Build and drive deep engagements with strategic customers and partners to define and document the next-gen AIML and GenAI multi-modal workloads.
• Work closely with internal architecture, engineering software, and business teams to enable the requirements that will deliver the best experience on SiMa MLSoC, Palette Software, Palette Edgematic, and Model Zoo
• Author crisp and compelling product value proposition and positioning.
• Create collateral and proof points to support positioning and narrative.
• Use your strong product sense to align the product and platform capabilities with what matters to our customers (the value proposition) and develop powerful positioning, collateral, and proof points to support the product narrative.

Experience (must-have):

• Proven experience in software product management, particularly in AI systems (software, APIs, user interface, applications)
• Strong understanding of AIML and GenAI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and architecture both in the cloud and edge
• Direct experience in developing or deploying large scale AI applications, including GenAI and inference at the cloud and edge
• Knowledge of the AI hardware and software ecosystem and successful management of technical products throughout their full cycle
• Bachelor's Degree AND at least 14 years' experience in software development and software product management (current/recent) with increasing responsibility in managing the full-cycle product management of company's core products.

Ideally, you would have:

• Technical degree (preferably MS) in computer science, engineering, or related field with an MBA
• 6 years of experience in building ML-powered products that run at the edge
• Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity at a start-up
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Industry experience in Industrial, Robotics/Drones, Smart Retail Analytics (Personalization), Aerospace, and Logistics in a business and customer facing role.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $210,000 to $267,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
