About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth commercial analysis and business support to senior management and the executive team. This pivotal role involves supporting the business in understanding and influencing performance across various key areas such as departmental spend, gross profit, margin, and investment. The Head of Commercial Finance will also be tasked with managing the commercial finance team, interacting with all areas of finance and operations, and deputizing for the CFO as needed.Key responsibilities for this role include business partnering with sales and external stakeholders, ensuring the ownership and accountability of key stakeholders, and overseeing the production and delivery of budgets and forecasts. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with an audit background, possess strong technical abilities, and have a proven track record of business partnering, communication, and influencing. Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable. The role demands a strategic thinker who can develop market-appropriate sales offerings and provide valuable business insights through the analysis of commercial data. The Head of Commercial Finance will also be involved in market and competitor analysis, investment and development spend, and the creation of detailed business cases for new firms.
