ITSUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Operations Manager to join our team. The Retail Operations Manager will oversee the back-of-house operations and store visual standards to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of retail programs.

Act as Manager on Duty:

Oversees the daily sales operation of the store and ensures sales objectives are met.

Evaluates back-of-house operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

Holds self and staff accountable to our Core Values and coaches to the behaviors associated with them.

Makes recommendations on staffing decisions including employment, discipline, training, assignment, and termination for assigned functions.

Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching, training and engagement of Sales Associates.

Demonstrates a positive, outgoing and enthusiastically brand proud attitude that is representative of our core values.

Follow our customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT.

Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.

Partners with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.

Support Store Operations

Supervise and provide support in all operational responsibilities to ensure the timely execution of all pricing, signage, replenishment, plan-o-grams, shipping and receiving in order to maintain inventory accuracy and ideal product flow.

Audit merchandise orders and inventory levels for accuracy and consistency.

Accountable for product merchandising and ensuring that displays are up to visual guidelines.

Ensure the sales floor replenishment process is completed daily.

Execute the stores annual Inventory.

Maintain communication with Supervisors regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.

Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with Store Manager.

Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping etc.

Recruit Great Talent:

Responsible for proactively networking/recruiting qualified candidates to ensure proper backfill for all positions. Seek internal/external candidates with a proven ability to develop and maintain sincere, authentic relationships.

Assist the Store Manager when selecting, training, and coaching Associates/Supervisors and ensures that policies and procedures are adhered to.

Achieve Sales Goals:

Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.

Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.

Establish a Collaborative Selling Culture in the Store, ensuring Associates/Supervisors are trained in all ITSUGAR selling training programs.

What you need to join the fun (besides SUGAR):

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

3-5 years of retail experience.

Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment required.

Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to use a POS/cash register.

Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
