$36,000 to start
JobGiraffe's client is a teaching preschool and kindergarten specializing in Early Childhood Education.
As Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will:
- Have a small class of 6-10 students
- Develop an age appropriate curriculum
- Utilize engaging lesson plans
- Conduct individualized assessments for each student
- Identify areas of improvement for each student
- Establish open lines of communication with parents and guardians
- Implement teaching strategies that accommodate the diverse needs of students
- Promote literacy, language and communication through your lesson plans
- Create a positive, nurturing, inclusive and safe environment for young learners and those with special education requirements
- Foster children's growth and development
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Teaching / Teacher experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar
- Curriculum Development skills
Pluses:
- Pre-K / Pre-Kindergarten / Preschool Teaching experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques
