JoBeth's Painting is Hiring a Summer Painter Near Monroe, MI
We are currently hiring for our Summer Painting Position. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the painting industry while enjoying a rewarding summer job. We are open to those with and without painting experience, all training will be provided free of charge!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, priming, and cleaning
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous painting experience is preferred but NOT required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
