Trainee Data Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Trainee Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this entry-level position, you will be introduced to the dynamic world of data analysis, where you will develop essential skills and gain hands-on experience needed to analyze and interpret data across various business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, tracking, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Support the data analysis team in managing databases and inputting information accurately.
• Work with senior analysts to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to learn and apply new analytical techniques.
• Help in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
• Provide support in documenting analytics processes and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
• Participate in projects to improve data quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Basic knowledge of statistical tools and business intelligence platforms like Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Internship or experience in an analytical role is an advantage but not required.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques is a plus.
