Job Summary: Job Options Inc. is seeking an experienced, responsible and motivated individual with a great work ethic for an immediate Class B Delivery Driver opening, operating a Class B 26 foot Box truck. Qualified applicants must be able to pass Driving Motor Vehicle (DMV) background check, possess a valid Class B driver's license, must be able to get approval to access military bases with the DBIDS program, and have at least 6 months' prior delivery driver experience. Essential Functions:
- Requires verifying all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries properly load and unload the materials from the truck.
- Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism when you assist customers ensuring their satisfaction with order fulfillment and material quality.
- Must be able to fulfill flexible scheduling requirements as determined by the manager and / or business needs of the laundry division.
- Drivers are home nightly and their routes are within a radius of about 120 miles from site.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have an ability to stand for prolonged periods, must be able to work well with employees with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
- Other related duties may be assigned.
$250 after completion of 30 days, $500 after completion of 180 days, $1,250 after 1 anniversary
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must initially pass the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), and yearly review thereafter. To be able to gain access to Department of Defense installation.
- Language Skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other staff members. English is required.
