Our client, a national leader in steel, is looking for an Estimator to join their team! As the Estimator, you will be responsible for project scope, coordination and estimating. If you are looking for an incredible place to work with lots of room for growth, apply for the Estimator position today!

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Coordinate bid document distribution to potential subcontractors with Document Control department.

  • Prepare scope, alternate & exclusions in proposals professionally for review and submission to customers.

  • Perform thorough and accurate material and labor take-off using company software.

  • Run software reports from takeoff for review by sales VP or President.

  • Prepare a completed recap of costs plus supporting vendor scope analysis for review by managers.

  • Coordination of project scope and schedule with vendors/subcontractors through phone calls & emails.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Ability to read complex blueprints.

  • You are good with numbers, analyzing figures, and organizing costs.

  • You come equipped with strong excel skills.

  • You understand sense of urgency and enjoy a fast paced environment 

  • Quickly understand and visualize construction drawings.
