About the Job 

The Social Media Manager is a driven individual that is creative and passionate about social media channels. They are relentlessly focused on driving guest engagement and building the Hopdoddy brand. They lead the strategic planning for all social channels and partner with the rest of the marketing team to develop engaging, relevant content. The SMM will also lead influencer campaigns.

Essential Functions

Social Media Management:

  • Develop strategies to grow followers and engagement rates across Hopdoddy social media accounts to ultimately drive brand affinity
  • Partners with team to plan & develop content aligned with overall communications content calendar and the Hopdoddy brand voice. Ensures flawless execution of content across social channels
  • Engages social media community while always maintaining the Hopdoddy brand voice
  • Monitors top competitors & best in class brands social activity to identify content opportunities
  • Analyzes results & reports weekly on social KPIs with passion to drive continuous improvement in metrics

Influencer Management:

  • Monitors & engages influencer audiences to continuously build our partnership database
  • Manages influencer campaigns to drive reach and ROI in campaign investments
  • Analyzes results & reports monthly on campaign metrics
  • Collaborates with agency partners & the Marketing Team to execute PR campaigns, partnerships, activations and events
  • Updates professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, executing competitive research & reading trade publications.

  • Identifies and analyzes problems and recommends workable solutions

Compensation, Benefits, and Culture*

    • $60-$70k salary for Full Time
    • $25-$30 per hour for Part Time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications required
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing managing social media channels required (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & X formerly known as Twitter)
  • Experience in restaurant or retail marketing preferred
  • Experience shooting food/drink video or photography content a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel), Asana & creative software a plus
  • Occasional travel

  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Solid project management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation skills

  • Self-motivated to set priorities and work with limited direction while performing at optimum level Sense of urgency in solving problems

Physical Requirements

  • Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 30-pound lifting requirement.
  • Responsible for utilizing office/restaurant equipment. The effective operation of equipment requires the use of all limbs, fingers and the ability to see.
  • Spends approximately 20% of his/her time standing and walking swiftly, therefore, he/she must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and move freely using all limbs and seeing at close/long distances.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. as well as visit Hopdoddy locations, Vendors, etc.; therefore, he/she must be able to travel autonomously, possibly to other geographical locations, in inclement weather, with little to no prior notification given.
  • Must be able work under a high degree of stress on a physical, mental and emotional level; this includes performing work in a fast-paced manner and making timely decisions.
