Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate data collection, and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inventory management activities, including demand planning, production planning, and stock replenishment
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues
- Utilize SQL and Power BI to analyze inventory data and generate reports for management
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall warehouse operations
- Assist in the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move and organize inventory within the warehouse
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
