Title: Laboratory Equipment Systems Specialist

Location: Malvern, PA - Hybrid schedule (3-4 days onsite)

Duration: 1 year

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

Summary:

The candidate will provide support and manage alerts for laboratory equipment while supporting the automation of two systems. They will receive a daily error list with the events that won't update to OneLab because of a mismatch among the instruments in the type. This most often occurs because one or more instruments have a different interval. Once a new event is created in Maximo with a different description or different event type, that becomes a new event in OneLab and the old event now will need to be manually updated forever to not interfere with the current events.

Responsibilities:

Biovia Equipment Tasks (50%)

• Metrology event alignment between groups.
• There is a list for event addition and event synchronization.
• New equipment addition.
• A daily readout of Maximo provides a list of equipment missing from OneLab.
• The list needs to be cleaned before any instruments can be imported to OneLab.
• Curation of Equipment
• Decommissioned instruments need to be inactivated in OneLab.
• Most importantly is decommissioned child equipment.
• Metrology corrections

PAS CAL Support (50%)

• Manage analytical equipment related to Cal Lab in M11
• Schedule and host vendor visits for repairs and calibration activity
• Communicate with PAS Team on instrument related items
• Obtain quotes and purchase vendor contracts on equipment
• Work within Maximo system for scheduling and work order activities
• Assist with onboarding of new assets and decommissioning of retired systems
• Manage pipets within the laboratory

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Sciences, Math, Computer Science)
• 2 years of experience
• Excellent communications skills required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills required
• Previous GxP or Quality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Biovia or LIMs software preferred
• Track record of being able to multi-task
• Previous inventory management experience preferred (Maximo would be an example)
