Title: Business Solutions Analyst

Location: Brunswick, NJ (onsite)

Duration: 6-month contract

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.


Summary:

As a Business Solutions Analyst you will design, develop, analyze, enhance, implement, maintain, and support solutions for the business. This role has a focus on both the business and technical aspects of solution management. In this role you will work in collaboration with the business team and/or Business Relationship Management Group to understand business demands and identify opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced expertise in their area of responsibility through team leadership and business partnership.
  • Manage multiple moderate size projects lasting up to one year (generally not more than 2 or 3 at one time).
  • Act as a key resource on other larger projects and serves as a consultant with cross-functional team members (e.g., internal and external).
  • Independently troubleshoot more complex problems and suggests effective resolutions.
  • Select tools and methodologies for projects, following compliance and company guidelines.
  • Lead the assessment of the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions and provide appropriate recommendations based on industry trends, internal benchmarking, and vendor relationships.
  • Take into consideration IT standards/strategies and business needs to guide well-informed decisions.
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary, and participate in compliance activities as required.
  • Advanced understanding of technology lifecycle management, serving as a resource to others.
  • Build and maintain up-to-date knowledge about company processes, strategies and industry trends.
  • Advanced working knowledge of changing business processes and the subsequent impact on applications.
  • Advanced understanding of the client's IT's technology standards and strategies.
  • Detailed understanding of business processes and data within and across areas.
  • Functions independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team providing work process reviews, balanced/constructive feedback while mentoring/guiding junior-level staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or University equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 6 or more years of work experience is required.
