Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Starting Pay: $18.50/hr

Shift(s): 1^st (8 am – 4:30 pm) Mon – Fri. OT as needed

Requirements & Skills:

· High School Diploma preferred.

· Prior experience in light industrial/ electronic assembly line set-up and production supervision.

· Knowledge of hand tools and light power tools, measuring tools, packaging equipment

· Read complex bills of material.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Primary Duties Include:

· Maximize revenue and quality, while minimizing cost and time.

· Build and time sample packs of steel components and assemblies produced in the operation, for shipment, as designed/ specified by the customer.

· Plans and carries out activities regarding pack-out approval for the customer.

· Produces accurate BOMs and Routers for P&A personnel.

· Compares quoted rates versus time study rates.

· Consults with Sales and customers in the creation of a sample for approval.

· Generates P&A rates for all work orders by performing actual, timed sample pack-outs and identifies inefficiencies. These rates are communicated to process engineering, so the schedules accurately reflect the production demand.

· Generates detailed P&A steps needed to perform assembly line of multiple custom packs in production.

· Develops and designs the setup of P&A lines, to meet productivity goals with line leads.

· Works with the Receiving department to track status of all customer materials required on Bills of Material for scheduled jobs.

· Responds to requests from Customer Service personnel.

· Communicates with Sales when P&A labor exceeds 10% underestimated level in order protect revenues.
