JMHC Brand is Hiring a Drug Court Program Coordinator Near Madison, WI

The Program Coordinator (PRC) provides assessments, and case consultation/coordination management. This position works on a team with the Court Officials (Judge and Commissioner), Dane County District Attorney’s (DA) representative, WI State Public Defender’s (PD) representative, Department of Correction’s (DOC) agent, and participates in weekly team meetings and court proceedings. The role includes relaying information between treatment providers/case managers to the court system, providing clinical expertise to the team, including suggestions regarding the use of incentives and sanctions for individual consumers. This position requires travel within Dane County. The PRC is reports directly to the assigned supervisor with overall overall program supervision by the Director. Annual service hours are 1140.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL

Typical Physical Demands

  • Requires driving, sitting, standing, light lifting, bending, and reaching; and the ability to use and operate standard office equipment, including computer, calculator, phone, printer, cell phone, facsimile, etc.

Working Conditions

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or submission of ongoing PCR test results required.
  • May require early morning or evening hours depending on program and consumer’s needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Provide Clinical Coordination

  1. Engage with case managers weekly, monitoring for compliance with treatment plans and reporting the updates to the court team
  2. Offer clinical expertise and utilize program supervisor as needed
  3. Review weekly case management reports and obtain clarifications
  4. Assist in coordinating treatment plan changes
  5. Maintain excellent working relationships
  6. Participate in meetings
  7. Collect and analyze data and evaluate program performance
  8. Develop and prepare reports

B. Provide Clinical Services 

  1. Review all cases in which eligibility status is questionable with the program supervisor
  2. Provide consumers with a thorough understanding of program expectations and requirements, including their rights and the grievance procedure
  3. Inform consumers of their program status during the course of evaluation

C. Quality Assurance 

  1. Continually upgrade clinical skills and knowledge
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation
  3. Accurately represent agency’s mission, vision and values
  4. Respond promptly to requests for information
  5. Maintain positive and supportive relationships with Drug Court Team, Community Partners and public at large
