Job Description: Principal Engineer/Scientist

Location: Dayton, OH

Clearance: TS/SCI

Status: Full Time

Skills Required:

PhD. in engineering, science, or mathematics with 7 years related experience.
Ability to lead complex high level technical and theoretical consulting and support services on programs.
Experience in designing, developing, executing and implementing projects, often of a research nature, that advances the organization's technical expertise.
Ability to integrate numerous advanced concepts, data and information from diverse arenas in order to synthesize an approach or technique to solve a problem.
Excellent writing and communication skills to prepare and present reports, papers, proposals, briefings and other documentation pertinent to the position.
Ability to act as a project leader and direct the work of other staff members, as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Lead complex high level technical and theoretical consulting and support services on programs.
Design, develop, execute and implement projects, often of a research nature, that advances the organization's technical expertise.
Integrate numerous advanced concepts, data and information from diverse arenas in order to synthesize an approach or technique to solve a problem.
Prepare and present reports, papers, proposals, briefings and other documentation pertinent to the position.
Act as a project leader and direct the work of other staff members, as necessary.

Requirements:

Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Master's degree or greater in sciences, engineering, data science or technological exploitation
10 years of related experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This full-time position is Monday through Friday and operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Limited travel may be required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
