JLM Networks is growing! We are looking for someone with at least 1 year experience in our field to run low voltage Cat6/Cat6A cable, fiber splicing & termination, install security cameras, door access control, install racks and patch panels, W.A.P.s, etc.

Starting pay is $19 - $22 per hour, depending on experience, with a review after 60 days.

Must be able to:

• Commute to various job sites, mostly in the metro Memphis area
• Complete projects
• Process paperwork accurately, neatly, and timely
• Be punctual
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Pass a drug screening
• Pass a background check

You must have:

• Valid Drivers' License in good standing and proof of automobile insurance
• Reliable transportation to go to and from job sites
• Adherence to technician uniform dress code including high-top leather/steel-toed work boots
• Ability and desire to perform job tasks in safe manner
• Great communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, turn and crawl in/out of tight spaces such as desks, cubicles and ceilings.
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts with arms extended above shoulder for extended periods of time
• Ability to load, unload and move materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Have Experience in:

• Installation of low-voltage type cabling such as data, security, paging, coax, fiber optic, etc.
• Reading blueprints and project scopes
• Fiber splicing and termination
• Terminating Cat5e/6/6A cable according to TIA color codes
• Installing racks and patch panels
• Installing Door Access & Security Cameras
