JLL is Hiring a Product Manager - Content Near Charlotte, NC

What this job involves
The Product Content Manager will work on the EDP Product Team and is responsible for technical writing of how to guides, creating content instructions for the use of platform tools, and enabling user onboarding to the data platform and common frameworks. The Product Content Manager will also maintain EDP's product marketing materials helping to educate our target market on the capabilities of the platform and providing guidance on how to get starting using EDP. This role will also create visual content so that application, development teams, Data Analysts and Data Scientists can quickly onboard to EDP and create business value using the platform.
This role will take ownership of the technical and product documentation related to exciting technologies such as low/no code analytics, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Gen AI and MLOps.
The product content manager will save cost by enabling self-service adoption of users to onboard and leverage platform capabilities with minimum help from the technical team. This role is critical for the platform to implement a federated data approach for application and development.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Product for the EDP Platform and will work within the Work Dynamics organization of JLL Technologies. This is a US based remote position that involves coordination with colleagues across the globe.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals, guides, instruction manuals, and online help systems
Conduct research and gather information by interviewing subject matter experts, reviewing technical specifications, and referencing relevant sources
Simplify complex technical concepts, jargon, and terminology into clear and concise language for target audiences
Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and developers to obtain necessary information and ensure documentation aligns with the product's user interface or feature set
Conduct usability tests to verify that the documentation meets users' needs and is easy to navigate
Adhere to style guides and formatting conventions specific to the company
Keep documentation updated with the latest product features and updates
Provide documentation to assure compliance with Data Governance Policies and Standards
Provide support to users by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering clarifications
Conduct training sessions or create tutorial videos to help users better understand the product or process
Guide the development of customer references, testimonials and case studies
Coordinate deadlines with release planning to ensure maximum value of product and feature launches

BS/BA Required. Masters or MBA degree preferred
Proven experience as a technical writer, product marketing manager or similar role
Proficiency in using documentation tools and software
Proficiency in Agile Scrum, Jira, ADO and/or GitHub preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Data Lake, Data Ingestion and/or ETL processes desirable
Knowledge of the CRE (Corporate Real Estate) domain desirable
Experience working in a B2B Services company provider is preferred
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly language
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
