Our office staff conducts research and analysis using current software to create certifiable documents and drawings, and we offer Land Surveying services throughout Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role as a Land Surveying Field Technician located in Shorewood, IL. The Land Surveying Field Technician will be responsible for assisting the Survey Party Chief in conducting various types of surveys, including ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys. Duties include using field equipment such as Trimble R12i GPS, Trimble S7 Robotic total stations, and TSC7 data collectors, maintaining and organizing equipment, and ensuring quality control of survey data and field notes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in field surveying preferred
  • Strong understanding of survey techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of construction plans and drawings
  • Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience with CAD software, Trimble Access, and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
