JLAN Solutions is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to support the Army National Guard in Philadelphia, PA 19120. This is a full-time, on-site role and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a military environment helping our soldiers and their families achieve financial success. 

What you'll do:

• Provide guidance and advice to individuals regarding financial matters, utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate to make recommendations on ways to utilize money.
• Collect, review, and analyze client's financial circumstances to determine their financial objectives, current assets, income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
• Analyze information and develops financial plans best suited to individual clients' requirements.
• Advise clients on new and existing products and services, ensuring they are aware of and understand what best meets their needs.

What you need to have: 

• BS or higher degree or 8 years of equivalent experience
• Experience working as a Financial Advisor or Financial Counselor
• Must have at least one of the following certifications:
  • AFC, CFP, or ChFP

Salary: $55-65,000/year
