Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office's phone system

- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries

- Collect patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality

- Assist with billing and payment processing

- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or emergency room (ER) visits when necessary

- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology

- Proficiency in using dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks)

- Familiarity with dental office systems and processes

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
