POSITION PURPOSE: 

Basic Objective: To assist the team during the installation of a quality roof in a safe and efficient manner.

As a Serv-Tech I, you are responsible for assisting the team throughout the job process including starting the project or finishing the project within the Foreman's guidelines. You are a growing and developing employee that will be given specific duties to complete. As part of the team you will need to consider the following: 

• Safety of your crew as well as the safety of the customer's people 
• Protection of the customer's building. Always watertight at night 
• Protection of the customer's property 
• Quality of our product
• Most effective use of the equipment that you have on a job (Efficiency) 
• Protection of the materials that are at your jobsite 
• Protection of company assets (Equipment, Tools, Trucks, etc.) 
• What can you do to improve the outcome of every roof?

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in site safety through OSHA and L&I compliance 
• Proper installation of all new roofing systems exactly as specified 

• Maintain good customer relations

• Ability to participate in the production and quality of workmanship
• Ability to take direction and delegation from team leader

• Responsible for company issued equipment 

Qualifications/Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• A minimum of 90 days related experience and/or training

• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Have a valid email address and working cell phone number
• Successfully pass drug screen and background check applicable to position 

Physical Requirements:

In order to meet all expectations of this position, an individual must be able to regularly sit, stand, climb, walk, lift 50 lbs., pull/push 50 lbs., carry 50 lbs., grasp, reach, stoop/crouch, crawl, talk, hear.

Equipment/Tools Utilized:

Duties of this position will require regular use of machinery, hand tools, transportation equipment, office equipment etc.

Workplace Environmental Conditions:

While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be subject to, occasional noise conditions, heat, cold, uneven work surfaces and multiple weather conditions.
