LOOKING FOR A ROCKSTAR!!

We're looking Shift Leader who loves people and wants to join one of the top selling sandwich shops in the area. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated previous success in the restaurant industry as a supervisor or shift lead. Responsibilities to include opening the restaurant, shift closing, employee training, customer service, food quality control, and a maniacal attitude towards cleanliness! You know, all the usual restaurant stuff.

Jimmy Johns Fort Lauderdale is seeking a SHIFT LEADER to become an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant. Providing world-class customer service and executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining Jimmy Johns work and cleanliness standards. 

We are looking for: 

- Part-time and full-time team members

- Retail, register (POS) and food handling experience a plus

- Punctuality and Reliability

Responsibilities for all team members: 

- Welcome and identify all customer needs 

- Make fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, restrooms, etc.

- Greet customers, take orders, operate cash register

- Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets

- Fill out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity

- Maintain professional appearance in Jimmy Johns dress code

- Be a positive team player in all situations

- Other duties may be required as needed

- Flexible work schedule, nights and weekends needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.

- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

- Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues.

- Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.

- Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).

- Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.

- Special Requirements: Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
