In this role, you'll work closely with community association clients, offering expert guidance on a wide range of legal matters, from governing document amendments to covenant and restriction violations. You'll play a vital role in running meetings, advising clients on meeting procedures, addressing board and annual meeting controversies, and resolving neighborhood disputes. Additionally, you'll stay at the forefront of community association laws and industry trends, ensuring that you can proactively inform our clients through educational efforts and industry-wide training initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Advise on covenant rules violations and enforcement
• Serve and advise on corporate/board of directors' powers, functions, training, and formal opinions
• Prepare, interpret, and amend Declarations, Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, Rules and Regulations, election rules and Architectural Standards
• Serve as a Board of Director or Committee Meeting Guidance and Attendance
• Advise on Lender Foreclosure or Landlord-Tenant Defense.
• Counsel on Construction Management and Defect Litigation
• Advise Real Estate Boundary or Title Disputes
• Review Loan Documents and Structuring Commercial Lines of Credit and/or Arranging Sources of Financing for Community Operations and/or Capital Improvements
• Effectively communicates with Courts, counsel, and clients, and actively engages in all aspects of a thriving community association practice.

WHO WOULD DO WELL IN THIS POSITION?

Knowledge & Skills

• 5 years experience working with HOA’s preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiations, including the ability to speak to audiences and to advocate on behalf of clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a litigation team
• Ability to act as an ambassador for our firm, approaching every situation with poise and confidence
• Comfortable participating in conferences and other activities associated with running a successful line of business within our firm
