Quick Service Repair Technician / Lube Oil Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Technicians are responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform basic functions such as: oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, filter replacement, wiper blade replacement, multi-point inspections, etc. as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate effectively with service team and assigned service advisor regarding the status and any changes to repair order
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Establish a finished product which adheres to factory and dealership procedures
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Operate all equipment in service area in a safe manner
• Document all work performed as soon as the job is completed
• Uses basic mathematical skills
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
