Jim Riehl's Friendly CDJR of Romeo is seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as Cashier/Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various administrative tasks including light office work. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is preferred
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with retail math
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Upselling skills to promote additional products or services
