Job Summary :

The Body Shop Reconditioning Technician at Jim Norton Toyota - Tulsa is responsible for completing reconditioning tasks on vehicles brought in for repairs at our body shop.

This full-time, hourly position requires a skilled individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to ensure high-quality work is performed on each vehicle.

The individual in this role will report directly to the Body Shop Manager and will work independently to complete tasks assigned to them.

This job is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time, hourly Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor position with a pay rate of $15 per hour.

Pay is biweekly.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401k and paid time off.

Responsibilities :

• Perform cosme ti c repairs on vehicles, including paint touch-up, windshield repair, wheel repair, buff panels, and headlight restore.
• Utilize proper safety procedures when handling chemicals and tools.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure efficiency.
• Complete all assigned tasks within designated time frames.
• Communicate any issues or delays to the Body Shop Manager.

Requirements :

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Prior experience in auto body repair and reconditioning preferred.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and tools required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
