With the help of a strong Team Development & Training Manager the company wants build careers, not just stores.

Opportunity:

The Team Development & Training Manager is responsible for leading two key components of the business: Professional development of staff across all store locations and recruiting and development of new staff for open job positions.

The role is directly responsible for the following specific duties:

People Development Duties:

  • Lead the overall leadership development & training strategy for the company
  • Lead employee relations strategy and engagement
  • Manage the performance review and development process
  • Develop and leads implementation of staff training process and materials
  • Coordinate all on-boarding and off-boarding

Staffing Duties:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and ensures compliance of federal and state employment law
  • Manage and helps create all job postings
  • Work with store managers to understand staffing needs
  • Coordinate all internal and external recruiting efforts
  • Manages all employee and HR records (pre-hire, new hire, promotion, training certification, termination, etc.)
  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries
  • Serve as first point of contact for store management
  • Conduct background checks
  • Provide needed HR reporting and tracking

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in training and leadership development in a retail, restaurant, or similar high customer-contact environment
  • Experience in human resources administration
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Passion for developing people and growing business
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with SHRM desired

Job Details:

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $48k-$55k
  • 2 weeks of PTO. Three (3) weeks after 3 years.

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with some after-hours engagement for special occasions and business events

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
