Job Description

The Weekend Receptionist is the "face and voice" of the dealership, which requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle multiple customers at once. The Receptionist will greet all customers entering the dealership and direct them to the appropriate department/person and will answer all telephone calls with enthusiasm and care to make sure callers receive the information they need.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a working knowledge of multi-line phone systems, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a desire to help people. Candidates must have fluent communication skills in English (speaking and writing), good time management skills, and a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Directs customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact
• Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
• Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
• Provides administrative assistance as needed
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Completes assigned duties in a timely manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, college a plus
• At least one year of customer service experience; experience in a similar role a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
• A "can-do" positive attitude!
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent telephone skills
• Impressive work ethic
• Able to work independently
• Able to problem solve
• Able to work a flexible schedule

Saturdays 9-6

Sundays 10-5

And some availability during the week to cover vacations or education if possible.
