Job Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team. In this role, you will trim trees and hedges, mow and manicure laws, maintain gardens, and keep pathways clean.

Ultimately, your goal is to keep the facility’s surroundings beautiful and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscaping.

Responsibilities :

• Janitorial duties
• Maintain clean pathways
• Ensure outdoor areas are protected from inclement weather
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
• Schedule any required specialized services

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred
• High school diploma / GED is preferred
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery
• Understanding of sprinkler systems
• Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening techniques
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
• Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
