• Review production schedules, process flow, data and activities.
• Produce products and deliver services with maximum efficiency.
• Communicate with internal/external partners about product specifications, purchasing, and current production capabilities.
• Maintain communication with management personnel on lean project status.
• Focus on workflow while balancing many factors including production time, labor requirement, course of action, product quality optimization, removing obstacles, using technology, ERP system, all other tools and resources.
• Utilizing Lean Six Sigma Principles, find ways to reduce waste, improve production efficiencies to meet On Time Delivery and other Production Metrics.
• Ensure and maintain employees safety and environmental concerns.
• Oversee and perform cycle counting; ensure the accuracy of the inventory for the organization.
• Understand and implement the 5s Visual Management System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Self-starter, ability to work independently.
• Production and processing experience, including knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Minimum of 2 years production planning experience.
• Ability to apply instructions and guidelines given by plant leadership
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and determine effective solutions
• Ability to identify cost savings strategies and implement promptly and effectively
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
