Job Title: Machine Operator/ Line Lead

Location: Plano, Tx

Pay rate: $16-18/hr

Hours: M-F, 8am- 5pm (Some Saturday’s).

Must be able to train 6:00am- 5pm for 1 week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: As a machine operator, the individual is proficient in operating various machinery and equipment, ensuring the efficient production of goods. They are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining the machines.
• Supervision: The line lead aspect of the role involves supervising a team. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that team members are following safety and production protocols.
• Production Coordination: The machine operator/line lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of production on the line. They coordinate with other team members to optimize workflow, schedule breaks, and address any production issues that arise.
• Quality Control: They oversee quality control measures, including inspecting products, monitoring quality standards, and conducting audits to ensure that the products meet specifications and are free from defects.
• Training: The line lead role may involve training new employees, ensuring that they understand the equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Problem Solving: They troubleshoot issues in real-time, identify the causes of machine malfunctions, and take corrective actions. As a leader, they may be responsible for solving production line challenges.
• Safety: Safety remains a top priority. The individual ensures that all team members are following safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and that safety mechanisms on the machines are in place and operational.
• Communication: Effective communication is key. The machine operator/line lead collaborates with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills are required to operate and maintain the machinery effectively and to train others.
• Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and coordinate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance is essential for the line lead aspect of the role.
• Bilingual is a must
