Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Assist in cooking and meal preparation under the guidance of a chef or cook
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment after each use
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
Note: Prior experience in the food industry or culinary training is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who have a passion for the food industry.
