JI-Solutions LLC is Hiring a CONTRACT SPECIALIST I Near Lanham, MD

Major Duties:

The Contract Specialist shall be required to:

- Create written documents to outline recommendations for contractual modifications or alterations in contracts;

- Working knowledge and understanding of Software Applications such as: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, ESC PRISM, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) BetaSam, and other procurement software;

- Draft solicitations, awards, and contract modifications; Serves as contract administrator on awarded contracts; and

a. Support client in development of solicitation requirements package

b. Support client with preparation of Procurement Request Data

d. Assist and support other activities not specified during the pre-award phase

These activities may include but not limited:

- Conducting market research

- Writing the SOW/PWS

- Creating proposal evaluation criteria

- Setting Technical Evaluation Panel (TEP) and writing the consensus memos

d. Ensure client COR and ACOR certifications are current and update.

e. Create a repository of all contracts on SharePoint for easy access

f. Support all client micro-purchases (Misc. obligations) and all Inter Agency Agreements (IAA).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Contractor shall have the following minimum qualifications:

Must have experience with Acquisition Support

· 3 years of experience working in a position similar to a Contract Administrator or Contract Specialist.

· At least 2 years of experience working with procurement software

· Willing to execute day to day tasks and work independently

· Good entrepreneurial work ethic and a desire to “get the job done”

· Ability to prioritize and follow through effectively

· A professional with the ability to deal with sensitive business information in a confidential and professional manner.

· Exceptional attention to detail and possess strong organizational and planning skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

· Ability to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and/or external sources.

· Excellent customer service focuses with an ability to work collaboratively with others.

· Ability to work with deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:
