Staff Development Coordinator (SDC)

Our spacious campus has a full-array of services including Skilled Nursing, Senior Living and Community programs that consist of traditional long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living, hospice and day health support services. Our employees are an outstanding team of professionals who go above-and-beyond each day with their compassionate care to our residents and the individuals we serve.
Under the leadership of the Director of Nursing and the Executive Director, the Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) is responsible for the planning, organization and development of the day-to-day functions of the department, while ensuring that the highest degree of quality and compassionate care is delivered at all times to the residents. Highest focus will be coordinating and completing any/all training programs on all 3 shifts that pertain to the care and well-being of our residents. Completing and coordinating the campuses general orientation, training nurses aid programs and employee health is also of highest importance. The SDC will consistently and objectively assess the educational needs of our staff, participate in new hire orientation, onboarding and training of new members of our nursing team and training nurse's aides, while regularly evaluating their competency, integrity and commitment towards exceptional care to the residents. The SDC is also responsible for managing the annual in-service training program and compliance with all state, local and company documentation requirements such as professional licensure, medicals, immunizations and the COVID-19 Testing processes and protocols.
