Title: Engineer (Commercial Power)

Place of Performance: Reston, VA

Mandatory Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI Clearance 

JFL Consulting, LLC is seeking a full-time Engineer with several years of experience with the setup/construction, operation, and servicing of large power systems for energy intensive industries or facilities (i.e. U.S. Military Bases).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. In lieu of a degree, with at least five (5) years of directly related operational experience may be a substitute.
• Applicant will require a minimum of 5 years in either designing, installing, maintaining and/or repairing industrial power systems to include the other mechanical support systems.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicant will be required to produce written technical reports, presentations and give briefings to technical and non-technical personnel.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Supported a commercial or military engineering or utility department for an installation, facility or vessel (i.e. ship’s engine room). 
• Supported nuclear, chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing facility(s).

Other Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• Travel: Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice
