POSITION SUMMARY
The Intake Clinician will be responsible for performing psychotherapy services including assessment, treatment plan development, as well as crisis and discharge planning. The clinician is responsible for reviewing and signing all clinical documentation in a timely manner. The intake Clinician will also act as a clinical consultant to the treatment team as indicated and will collaborate with outside agencies as required in delivering services.
JFCS offers exceptional clinical training opportunities and clinical supervision. Graduates from clinical programs and associate level clinicians interested in obtaining independent licensure are supervised by seasoned supervisors approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
This position requires flexible scheduling; clinicians are required to work five days a week. To help meet the needs of the clients, clinicians are required to work two evenings until at least 7:00pm. Adjustments to an agreed upon schedule will require approval of the Clinical Supervisor or the Vice President of Clinical Services.
